This white acrylic disc is made from sturdy 1/8 inch (3mm) acrylic, and are laser cut for perfectly smooth edges. They have a Protective film on both sides to keep them clean and scratch free before use. OPAQUE ACRYLIC is a bright white color and does not allow any light to pass through, while translucent acrylic allows some light, and the shape of the object to show through.
TRANSLUCENT ACRYLIC sheeting is often referred to as "sign grade". It has the unique property of being non see-through, but allows some light transmission, thereby making it a good choice for any backlighting application.
